Application Process 

San Elijo College only admits students who are serious about following the truth to the very end like Socrates and Jesus.  We are seeking students who:

  • Are passionate about reading classic great books.
  • Desire a community of like minded scholars dedicated to the pursuit of truth.
  • Seek to keep the cost of private college education affordable.

The College will be admitting our first class of students for Fall 2010.  Joining the first class of a new college is not for everyone.  It involves taking a risk which may change your soul forever.  Are you ready?  If so, contact us and we will help you through the application process.

To be considered for admission students are required to submit the following documents prior to March 1.

  • Application for Admission
  • Admissions Essays
  • A $50.00 non-refundable application fee
  • Official high school transcripts sent directly to the College
  • Two letters of recommendation completed by a teacher or other individuals familiar with applicants academic potential
  • SAT Scores sent directly to the College

When an applicant has submitted all the required documents, an evaluation will take place and a decision rendered.

Students will be evaluated for admission to the College based on High School curriculum, academic achievement, SAT scores, and a demonstrated ability and interest in a classical, liberal arts, great books education. San Elijo College requires high school graduation (or GED equivalent) for enrollment.   All decisions for admission the college are made by the faculty admissions committee.

Enrollment will be limited to 12 students for our first cohort.

Tuition

Annual tuition: $8,000

Financial Aid

San Elijo College does not and will never participate in any state or federal financial aid programs.

The College encourages students to seek private sources of funding for tuition and living expenses.

San Elijo College is able to offer admitted students up to $2,000 tuition reduction plans on the basis of merit or need.
